Furnace

FURNACE

Formed in 2019, Furnace emerged from the shared vision of Rogga Johansson (Paganizer, Demiurg, The Grotesquery) and Peter Svensson (Assassin’s Blade, Void Moon), driven by a mutual passion for dark, horror-fantasy storytelling and classic concept albums. Musically, Furnace stands firmly in the tradition of melodic death metal, channeling the progressive intensity of Edge of Sanity while weaving in the somber, gothic atmosphere associated with Paradise Lost.

Over the years, Furnace has built an extensive and ambitious discography, including “Black Stone Church” (2020), “Dark Vistas” (2020), “Stellarum” (2022), the expansive triple album “The Casca Trilogy” (2023), “Trojan Hearse” (2024), and “Eternally Enthroned” (2025).

Now, Furnace return with their highly anticipated seventh full-length album “Echoes of a Distant Future”. The Swedish melodic death metal act unveils a new chapter in their ongoing conceptual saga, continuing the narrative first introduced on “Trojan Hearse”, and delivering another crushing, story-driven opus rooted in atmosphere and intensity.

On “Echoes of a Distant Future”, Furnace once again embrace the concept album format in full. Picking up directly from its predecessor, the story follows a protagonist escaping Hell through a mysterious machine, only to awaken in a distant, dystopian future where alien forces secretly dominate humanity. As he is drawn into a resistance movement, the album explores themes of survival, identity, and the enduring question of whether mankind can reclaim its fate.

Musically, the album continues Furnace’s signature blend of crushing riffs, haunting melodies, and layered atmospherics, drawing clear influence from the progressive edge of Edge of Sanity and the darker tonal palette associated with Paradise Lost. The result is a cohesive and immersive listening experience that reinforces the band’s reputation as one of the genre’s most ambitious and consistent acts.

With “Echoes of a Distant Future”, Furnace not only expand their already vast discography but also deepen their commitment to storytelling within metal, delivering a record that is as cinematic in scope as it is sonically powerful.

“Echoes of a Distant Future” will be released on CD and digital formats on 29.05.2026, via Emanzipation Productions.

Crown The Beast

CROWN THE BEAST

CROWN THE BEAST unleash their apocalyptic vision with the new EP “Judgement”, a crushing display of groovy modern death metal infused with old-school brutality. Expanding on the band’s established sound, the release pushes their sonic intensity even further, delivering a relentless and immersive journey into the dark universe imagined by Crown The Beast.

Recorded by the band themselves and produced by Horde Echo Sound Production – a collaboration born while touring Ukraine – “Judgement” captures the raw aggression and atmosphere the band had long envisioned. The result is an apocalyptic soundscape where crushing riffs, groove-driven rhythms and ferocious vocals collide with a focused, powerful production.

The EP also features a special moment for the band: a cover of Six Feet Under’s “Human Target”, a track Crown The Beast had long discussed reinterpreting. Their version stays true to the spirit of the original while injecting it with the band’s own brutal sonic identity, turning it into both a tribute and a transformation.

With “Judgement”, Crown The Beast present a heavier and more destructive chapter in their evolution. The end is coming – and Crown The Beast provide the soundtrack.

“Judgement” will be released on all streaming services on May 15th, 2026, via Emanzipation Productions.

Heir Corpse One

HEIR CORPSE ONE

Heir Corpse One was formed in 2020 by Rogga Johansson (Paganizer, Massacre, and many more) and Peter Svensson (Cales, Assassin’s Blade, Void Moon) with the goal of crafting classic Swedish death metal rooted firmly in the iconic “Sunlight Studio” sound. The line-up is completed by lead guitarist Kjetil Lynghaug (Mordenial, Vredesblod, Paganizer) and drummer Marcus Rosenkvist (Assassin’s Blade, To Descend, Anchorite).

The band’s debut album presented a full-fledged concept story about wealthy passengers fleeing the pandemic in a private jet, only to crash, descend into cannibalism and trigger a zombie outbreak. The EPs that followed explored different dark corners of the band’s universe: “Caribbean Frights” tapped into Caribbean folklore infused with Cthulhu mythos, while “Chopping Spree” delivered a barrage of gore-driven tales of butchery and death.

With “Destination: Domination”, Heir Corpse One now expand their apocalyptic saga into its most devastating form.

“Destination: Domination” is out now on CD and digital formats, via Emanzipation Productions.

Dead Sun

Dead Sun

Swedish melodic death metal force DEAD SUN returns with its brand new album, “This Life Is A Grave” – another slab of dark, melodic, and riff-driven death metal crafted by the ever-prolific Rogga Johansson (Paganizer, Revolting, Ribspreader, and many more). Backed this time by drummer Thomas Ohlsson, the new record showcases Dead Sun’s unmistakable blend of heaviness, melancholy, and melody, proving once again that the band’s creative fire burns stronger than ever.

Formed back in 1996, Dead Sun was originally conceived as an outlet for Rogga Johansson to explore a more melodic side of death metal alongside his main band Terminal Grip (later renamed Paganizer). The project debuted with the “As Night Conquers Day” demo in 1997, followed by the six-track demo “The Untold” in 1999, before entering a long period of dormancy. Sporadic recording sessions in the early 2000s eventually led to the band’s reawakening, culminating in a 2013 release that collected early demos and new material.

Since then, Dead Sun has remained active, releasing a steady stream of albums and compilations that showcase Johansson’s distinctive songwriting and devotion to the Swedish death metal tradition. With “This Life Is A Grave”, Dead Sun continues to evolve while staying true to its roots – delivering melodic death metal that is as dark, powerful, and timeless as ever.
